Charles Koiner Center for Urban Farming

CKC Farming, a non-profit organization, operates the Koiner Farm in downtown Silver Spring, MD, which holds the distinction of being the first urban farm in Maryland to be permanently preserved through a conservation easement. CKC Farming’s mission is to safeguard and manage urban farms that inspire the next generation of mindful farmers and food enthusiasts. This fundraiser, sponsored by the North Hills of Sligo Creek Citizen’s Association (NHSCCA), is part of the association’s broader initiative to promote environmental sustainability and foster a healthy community.
