LCAS & MCHS

Seasonal Roots proudly supports two of the region’s largest pet rescue and adoption organizations through our fundraisers. We’ve donated hundreds of dollars to benefit both Loudoun County Animal Services (LCAS) in Virginia and the Montgomery County Humane Society (MCHS) in Maryland. At LCAS, the mission is to foster a compassionate, humane community for animals and people. Their animal shelter provides care for companion animals surrendered by their owners or found stray in the county, and they offer pets for adoption. In addition, their Humane Law Enforcement Officers enforce local and state animal laws and investigate reports of animal cruelty. Funds from our donations help support adoptions, spaying/neutering, vaccination clinics, microchipping, outreach programs, pet food pantries, and more.
