Ingredients needed:

  • maple syrup

Alton Brown’s Shrimp Gumbo

Ingredients needed:

  • vegetable oil
  • all-purpose flour
  • medium-sized shrimp
  • onion
  • celery
  • green peppers
  • garlic
  • tomato
  • kosher salt
  • finely ground black pepper
  • thyme
  • cayenne pepper
  • bay leaves
  • andouille sausage

Ingredients needed:

  • fresh flat-leaf parsley

Provencal Summer Squash and Potato Gratin

Ingredients needed:

  • yellow summer squash
  • zucchini
  • Yukon gold potato
  • sweet onion

  • fresh rosemary
  • olive oil
  • freshly grated Manchego cheese

 

Grilled Summer Squashes with Chow-Chow Chimichurri

Ingredients needed:

  • summer squash
  • olive oil
  • Kosher salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • green tomato
  • extra-virgin olive oil
  • cane vinegar
  • lemon
  • fresh basil leaves
  • fresh herbs (parsley, cilantro, sage)
  • crushed red pepper flakes

 

 

Skillet Eggs with Squash

Ingredients needed:

  • Kosher salt
  • extra-virgin olive oil
  • scallions
  • jalapeno pepper
  • fresh parsley
  • freshly grated nutmeg
  • freshly ground pepper
  • unsalted butter
  • large eggs
  • grated pepper jack or sharp white cheddar cheese

 

Crunchy Thai Salad with Peanut Dressing

Ingredients needed:

  • 2 cups sliced kale
  • 1 ½ cups sliced napa cabbage
  • 1 ½ cups sliced red cabbage
  • ½ cup sliced red bell pepper
  • ½ cup shredded carrot
  • 1 mango, sliced
  • ¼ cup cilantro
  • 8 mint leaves
  • 1 tablespoon sliced green onions
  • ¼ cup peanuts, roasted, roughly chopped

Peanut Dressing

  • ⅓ cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 3 tablespoons honey, or maple syrup
  • 1 ½ tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  • 1 ½ tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha
  • ½ teaspoon minced ginger
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon water
